The agreement between you and Billendar when you use our service.
By accessing or using Billendar at billendar.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Billendar is a bill management application that helps you track, organize, and stay on top of your bills and payments. The Service includes:
Billendar is a tracking and organizational tool. We do not process payments, provide financial advice, or act as a financial institution.
To use Billendar, you must sign in with a Google account through our OAuth authentication system. By signing in, you represent that:
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Billendar offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan. The free plan includes core features with some usage limits. The Pro plan unlocks additional features including Gmail auto-scanning, AI receipt analysis, and unlimited bills.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice to current subscribers.
You agree to use Billendar only for its intended purpose - managing your personal or household bills. You may not:
You own the data you put into Billendar (bills, receipts, notes, etc.). We do not claim ownership over your content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you.
You can export or delete your data at any time. For details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
If you choose to connect your Gmail account, you authorize Billendar to access your email in read-only mode for the purpose of detecting bills, receipts, and payment confirmations. You can disconnect Gmail access at any time.
Our use of Gmail data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The Billendar name, logo, design, code, and all related materials are the property of Billendar and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without our written permission.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on our Service infringes your rights, please contact us at support@billendar.app.
Billendar is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:
Billendar is a tracking tool, not a payment processor or financial advisor. Always verify bill amounts and due dates independently. We are not responsible for missed payments or financial decisions based on information in the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Billendar and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
You may stop using Billendar and delete your account at any time from your account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination unless the situation requires immediate action (e.g., security threats or legal obligations).
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Billendar and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
Billendar integrates with third-party services including Google (authentication and Gmail), Stripe (payments), and AI providers (bill/receipt analysis). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
